The Tragically Hip are a Canadian rock band from Kingston, Ontario. They are often referred to as The Hip and consist of lead singer Gord Downie, Paul Langlois, Bobby Baker, (both guitarists), Gord Sinclair (bass) and drummer Johnny Fay.
They have released 14 albums, 2 live albums, 54 singles and 1 EP. Nine of their albums have reached Number 1 in Canada and they are the winners of countless awards.
The Hip gave their final concert on August 20th, 2016 after a Summer tour called Man Machine Poem Tour. The tour's final concert, held at the in Kingston on August 20, 2016, was broadcast globally by the CBC as a television, radio and internet streaming special.
