The Lumineers is an American Folk-Rock, Americana band from Denver, Colorado. The band was founded by Wesley Shultz(guitar, lead vocals) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums/percussion). In 2010 they hired Neyla Pekarek to play cello and sing.
The band began writing and performing their own songs in 2005 and has become on the top touring bands in the U.S. and sells our shows all over the world. The Lumineers is one of the most popular folk rock/Americana artists and actually helped REVIVED the genre. Their music is influenced by Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan.
